Over the past five years of independent consulting, Rakon Energy has been grateful for a diverse client base leveraging Rao Konidena’s Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) experience in transmission, demand response, energy storage, and electricity markets.
Clients include renewable developers and their associations, consumer and environmental advocates, aggregators and their associations, training companies, and MISO, SPP & PJM market participants. Distributed Energy Resources
The goal of Rakon Energy’s work is to push the envelope on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Order 2222 to enable DERs and advanced demand response (auto DR), and Order 841 to enable Electric Storage Resources to participate in independent wholesale electric markets in a full, fair, and openly transparent manner through the use of 3rd party aggregators.
Aggregated DERs have multiple grid benefits, including responding quickly to grid emergencies and preventing blackouts.
