Rao Konidena is an independent energy consultant providing policy and testimony support, business development, and training in U.S. wholesale electricity markets. He works extensively with consumer advocates, environmental organizations, renewable developers, and other market participants, helping them navigate regulatory and market design challenges.

Before founding Rakon Energy® LLC, Rao served as Principal Advisor for Policy Studies at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), where he focused on energy storage, distributed energy resources (DERs), and long-range transmission planning.

Rao is on the Board of Ever Green Energy and the Center for Renewables Integration.
